DC in moving traffic is about 25 min. drive. Local grocery stores are about a mile away in any direction. I would say having a car is necessary in this area. There is bus service in the neighborhood, but from what I understand is that it is only during rush hour and it takes a long time to get anywhere by bus. The household is non-smoking. If you smoke you would have to smoke outside. I require a 1 year lease, 1 months rent as a deposit, references and credit check.
